Convention Incentives

Abilene Civic Center: For groups up to 1800+

The Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau will underwrite the rental cost of the Civic Center if:

• The conference can’t be accommodated at a hotel
• The conference uses 200 rooms or more nightly
• 70% of all attendees are from out-of-town

 Historic Downtown Venues:

The Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau will underwrite 50% of the required meeting space fees at any historic venue when booking meetings for 2010-2011.

  • 70% of all attendees are from out-of-town.
