Abilene Country Club's 4th of July Invitational, one of oldest golf tournaments in the state, has been held since 1926. Out-of town members of other USGA member clubs are welcome.

Known for is well-conditioned greens, Maxwell's beautiful course is a great place for players to sharpen their short game. Maxwell also boasts a pro shop, practice range, club rentals and a snack bar.
Rose Park Tennis Center was the United States Tennis Association's Facility of the Year for 1999-2000. USTA sanctioned competitions are held throughout the year. The Center has a tennis pro, pro shop and offers lessons.
