This unique short film festival is a juried competition for student and independent filmmakers worldwide. Two evenings of short film programs feature projects of 20 minutes or less.
More than 3,400 films were submitted this year from all over the world. The festival committee has narrowed down selections to 27 films that will be screened over two days on the following programs:
- Opening night—Friday, Nov. 5, 7 pm
- Matinee—Saturday, Nov. 6, 2 pm
- Closing Night Program & Awards: Saturday, Nov. 6, 7 pm
Each program costs $10 but film fans can get a festival pass for all three programs for $20.
Some directors plan to attend if COVID lets them. Some of these films have been nominated for Academy Awards and have won awards and been nominees at the Cannes, Sundance, SXSW, Berlin, Tribeca, and Toronto FIlm Festivals. Two are student Academy Award nominees.
