Overview
Do you have pecan trees in your yard or on your land? Or do you love baking with pecans? Then the Abilene Area Pecan Show is for YOU!
Residents from Taylor, Callahan, Fisher, Jones, Nolan, and Shackelford Counties are invited to enter their best pecans or pecan baked goods.
Two ways to participate:
Pecan Nut Division – Submit 42 nuts of the same variety (don’t worry if you’re not sure of the exact name—just make sure they’re all alike!). Nut entries will be accepted starting November 3rd through November 18th.
Baking Division – Share your favorite pecan recipe and a sample of your creation! Baking entries will be accepted on November 19th.
Whether you’re a grower, a baker, or just a pecan lover, this is your time to shine!
