Monthly art program designed for tweens and teens (especially homeschooling students) to get hands-on learning about arts and techniques.
Aimed at the homeschooling community in the Abilene area, Art Smarts is back for another school year of artsy fun. If you have a tween or teen with an interest in the arts, join us for the next session at your Main Library. For this month, we’re blending creating art with learning about art. Join us for some fun with experimenting with colors and tools before launching into fun projects. In addition to traditional color mixing, we’ll add in a fun magic milk experiment too and explain how it works. All supplies will be provided, so come out and get artsy with your library.
