Overview
A meetup for tweens and teens, especially the homeschooling community, to come learn about art and then create artwork of their own based on the style of the artist being featured.
Aimed at the homeschooling community in the Abilene area, Art Smarts is growing and now being offered a second time at another location and featuring a different art project to get hands-on with. If you have a tween or teen with an interest in the arts, join us for the next session at your Mockingbird Branch as this session will feature learning about self portraits in the style of Frida Kahlo. Come out to learn about this artist and then get hands-on with making your own flower adorned self portrait, with all materials supplied.
