Overview
Distant Worlds — Alien Life?
This stunning planetarium film delves into one of humanity’s most profound questions: Are we alone in the Universe?
For thousands of years, our ancestors gazed at the stars, wondering about their origins and the mysteries they hold. Today, we continue to ask these same questions, aware that the Universe is immense—home to billions upon billions of stars and planets. Yet, Earth remains the only world we know to support life.
Distant Worlds – Alien Life? (originally titled Ferne Welten – fremdes Leben?), developed in Germany, is a collaborative production by the planetariums of Münster, Bochum, Kiel, Mannheim, Osnabrück, and Wolfsburg, produced at the LWL-Planetarium Münster. The film features captivating graphics, partially rendered using “Digital Sky 2” from Sky-Skan Inc., bringing this cosmic exploration vividly to life.
