Exhibition Connection – Hispanic Heritage Month
Activity – STEAM Project: Hispanic Heritage Month
We will be celebrating both Hispanic Heritage Month and Texas Archaeology Month by making pinch pots provided by Texas Historical Commission. Pinch pots will be inspired by Antonio Mateos, “Por Donde Sale el Sol” from our permanent collection. Visitors will learn about Texas Archaeology and Hispanic Art & Pottery.
Keep watch for our Pop-Up cart in the galleries on Thursday evenings 5-8 pm with fun projects that any age visitor can enjoy! These rotating hands-on activities are carefully created by our Grace education staff to help strengthen connections to the artwork or objects currently on view.
