Overview
The annual historical re-enactment of the original 1885 Christmas ball held in Anson to honor a newly wed couple, area cowboys and their ladies. This old-time Texas frontier gala is a historic western heritage celebration featuring classic western music, dancing, listening and holiday fellowship. The Ball is an official state historical event designated by the Texas Historical Commission.
