The Zoo is Abilene's most visited attraction. It boasts:
- 500 animals that representing 160 species - jaguars, black rhinos, bison, maned wolves, giraffes, black bears, lions, white tiger, monkeys and more!

- Creepy Crawler Center: 49 exhibits of rare reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates
- Adventure Center: Home to educational children's programming and the Zoo store.
