Add to Calendar 10/16/2021 10:00 AM 10/30/2021 04:00 PM America/Los_Angeles Boo at the Zoo presented by Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union

The zoo will come alive with costume contests, a pumpkin craft, wild animal experiences, and pumpkin chunkin'. The zoo is pleased to add more attractions this year, a portion of which are decorated regions that will each have their own theme. There will be a new twist on the costume contest by including their ambassador animals - LIVE. There will also be performances by Princess Bubbles and her grand wand that feature mystical bubbles that can be morphed into something greater. Professional dancers will sweep through the Festival de Animales region. There will be life-sized piñatas, great for photo-ops. And, finally, the zoo will be including a presentation of two animals, Macho the Rhino and Athena the Burmese Python. DJ Swink will be playing spooky classics and Halloween mixes each weekend.

Little ghosts and goblins will be able to gather goodies at vendor trick-or-treat stations spread throughout the zoo, providing ample space for social distancing.
