Overview
Join us for the Abilene Black History Bus Tour on Friday, February 20, from 1:00–5:00 PM as part of our Black History Month celebrations. This engaging and educational experience will take participants to several significant Black historical sites and churches throughout Abilene, guided in collaboration with local historian Pastor Andrew Penns. Along the way, attendees will learn powerful stories and gain a deeper understanding of the people, places, and legacy that have helped shape the community.
Transportation will be provided on an ACU-wrapped bus, departing from Abilene Christian University Brown Library Parking lot at 1:00 PM and returning to campus by 5:00 PM. This is a meaningful opportunity to learn more about Abilene’s history, connect with others, and honor the rich cultural heritage within the city.
Seating is limited. Sign up using the QR code to reserve your spot.
