Overview
Celebrate the 100th birthday of Winnie-the-Pooh at a free party Thursday night at the Abilene Convention Center. Kick off the start of the Children's Art + Literacy Festival with music, activities, food trucks and performances by Ballet Folklorico De Alvaro Muñoz Academy. Make a birthday card for Pooh. After the party, head to the Clear Fork Bank Storybook Garden for the unveiling of the brand new Hundred Acre Wood with bronze sculptures of Winnie-the-Pooh, Christopher Robin, Kanga and Roo, Rabbit, Owl, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore!
