A new year is the perfect time to try something new, step outside your comfort zone, and let the world hear your talent. Do you have what it takes to be the next Abilene Idol? Abilene Idol is an exciting opportunity for singers of all ages to take the stage, showcase their talent, and compete for the chance to advance to the finale at the Historic Paramount Theatre. Finalists will have the opportunity to perform live, receive professional headshots, enjoy professional hair and makeup, and record a professional demo with Wonderland Records, along with other exciting perks. Abilene Idol features three age divisions: Mini Abilene Idol for 1st-6th grade, Abilene Idol Junior for 7th-12th grade, and Abilene Idol for singers 18 and older who are out of high school. Best of all, your participation helps support Chorus Abilene, a local nonprofit dedicated to promoting choral music through audience and participation.
