Overview
Parents are invited to bring their kids in for a special storytime led by our friends from the Noah Project.
Join your Abilene Public Library, and the Noah Project, for this great storytime designed to help youth to better understand social issues they may encounter. Each month focuses on a different theme such as self-worth, how to treat others, boundaries, responsibility, diversity and differences, dealing with change, healthy relationships, and more. Each session will focus on one of these topics where staff from the Noah Project will share a story to highlight the issue, then engage with youth in a craft activity related to the story. For this session, the featured story will be “Little Blue Truck Makes a Friend” by Alice Schertle. This program will be conducted across all three library branches each month.
