Summer Camp 2024 - We have it all!
It’s time for children at the Summer Playground Camp! With 20 new camps operating every two weeks, you’re sure to find something for every child. Our camps offer a safe & nurturing place to play fun recreation games, opportunities to learn & discover, & make lifelong friends. The Summer Playground Camp is sponsored by the City of Abilene Recreation Division. This program is designed to offer a quality summer camp program for children ages 6 — 13. The Recreation Division is responsible for the day-to-day programming & supervision of children & staff. The goal is to provide safe, exciting, & fun filled activities for all participants.

• Dates: June 3rd — August 9th
• Hours: 7:30 AM — 6:00 PM
• Cost: $85 for each two-week session

Registration
• Registration Opens: March 25th
• Registration is not transferable
• You can also Register In Person at the Parks & Recreation Office | 633 Walnut St
• Hours for In Person Registration: Monday — Friday | 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM
How to Register
• Visit our registration website.
• Once registration is open, you can add the Summer Camp Session of your choice activity to your cart.
• Before you can continue to check out, you’ll either need to log in or create a new account.
• To create a new account, all you need to do is fill out the necessary information. Once your account has been created, you can log in to continue to the shopping cart.
• In the enrollment process, you select the participant that will be attending the event, fill out any additional information, & right before you proceed to shopping cart, you select Register Another Participant for this Activity to register anyone else that may be attending the Summer Camp Session of your choice. Continue this process until the appropriate number of tickets are purchased.
• Once everyone is enrolled, you may proceed to your shopping cart & checkout to complete your registration for the Summer Camp Session of your choice.
