Overview
What is it?
The NCCIL Summer Fun Club is self-paced program built to promote art and literacy throughout the summer while leaving room for camp, vacation, and lazy days.
Who is it for?
At the NCCIL we do our best to build our programs to extend to all ages. With that said, children who are not yet reading will need help participating from an adult or sibling reader.
When does it begin?
Your NCCIL Summer Fun Club bag will be ready for pick up on June 16th and can be picked up anytime after that date.
When does it end?
A special celebration will be on Saturday, August 8th from 9-10 am where club members will receive their final award. (You don't have to be present to receive final award. Just email anna@nccil.org to say you can't be there.)
How does it work?
Each club member will be given a Summer Fun Club bag which will include instructions and a color-in activity log. As the club member completes an activity, they will color the corresponding spot on the paper. For every 5 activities completed, the club member will come to the NCCIL to receive a prize. A NCCIL Staff Member will sign off on the log to keep track of which award the club member has received.
Can I do more than one a day?
Yep! This is self-paced.
Can I join after June 16th?
Yep! We will close registration on July 11th.
