Overview
The downtown cultural district museums including, Frontier Texas, The Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA), The Grace, The National Center for Children’s Literature (NCCIL), and The Twelfth Armored Division Memorial Museum will be open and free to the public on Summer Thursdays from June 18, 2026 – August 6, 2026 from 5 – 8 p.m.
You and your family are invited to visit the Abilene downtown museums during the summer between 5 – 8 p.m. every Thursday night! Each museum will offer free admission and additional evening hours for you and your family to visit and explore these cultural locations.
