Ranches & Special Venues

After the TSPS 2010, a number of professional surveyors and students of surveying are more enlightened and energized. On behalf of TSPS, please let me say thank you for your help and support to make sure that we could make that happen. The 2010 TSPS symposium in Abilene was successful. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the town, the hotel and Frontier Texas! We could not have done it without you.

I wanted to extend my sincere thanks for the warm welcome from the City of Abilene. As a new officer of the Texas Chapter, Rocky Mountain Fleet Management Association, I wasn’t sure how much support the host city would be able to provide. However, the City of Abilene rolled out the red carpet for our group and we really appreciate it. I’d like to especially mention want a wonderful job Ms. Woods did in having name badges, welcome bags, and other gifts available for attendees. Ms. Woods arrived well before I did Thursday morning, as my drive from the Dallas area was hindered due to thunderstorms. Her early arrival and set-up made my job very easy, on what I thought would be a hectic morning (with my delayed arrival). Ms. Woods is a wonderful ambassador for your City and was very welcoming and helpful to our entire group. I hope our Chapter has the opportunity to visit Abilene again in the future!
